高雄市立仁武高中於昨日在1年級的資訊科技課程中，辦理校長雙語公開觀課，由校長余忠潔擔任公開授課教師，邀請教務主任、教學組長、雙語教師與2位老師一起入班觀課，校長使用英語教學生利用Python程式設計解決問題，並利用學員與教練的模式降低學生寫程式的焦慮。除了落實108課綱所揭示校長及教師公開觀課，並積極回應教育部2030雙語國家政策，在學科中使用英語教學。
余忠潔校長說：仁武高中為鼓勵全校師生使用英語溝通，培養學生使用雙語學習與思考的習慣，成立國際專班、辦理AP課程，鼓勵學生英語學習、拓展國際視野，並及早規劃後續升學。此外，提升教師雙語教學專業也是學校的重點，鼓勵老師成立專業社群以精進教師雙語教學知能，還優化了多元情境教室，配合外師結合各種節慶 (如萬聖節)的彩蛋變和裝活動，讓學生自然進行英語對話練習，在活潑與充滿樂趣的遊學過程中，促發學習動能。
During the observation class, principal Yu showed us how to use simple, clear English to teach students to use Python programming to solve problems. Principle Yu let students work as a team, everybody should play different roles, one has to be the coach and the other has to be the coding one. The purpose of this observation class is to encourage students and teachers to speak English during classes. No matter what your English level is, just try to use English as a tool to communicate with each other. We must have confidence in our English. We are all doing a great job!
